One Single Impression: Cocoon

My pride is my cocoon
Where I hide my tears when I cry
My fear is my cocoon
Where the wounds healed but pain left
Your love is my cocoon
Where I find who I am
And soon feel lost again

I like what you did with our prompt.

Wonderful, but sad, poem you write here, Perry. Lasting comfort just doesn't come easily.
Sorry I'm so late in getting back here, my week was very busy and hectic.
